Guided Tours were added to Joomla with release 4.3. This feature was started by students in the Google Summer of Code (GSoC) program and with student help taken over the finish line. Our timeline has it all from the beginning to now.

What are Guided Tours?

Guided tours are guides a user through functionality, content creation steps, and more by highlighting different areas with explanations and/or instructions. They help users to understand features, buttons, links and various functional page elements and how to use them.
